So, want to get involved in one of the most outstanding events of the year? With over 70 events planned, there’s a spot for you!
This May 14-17, KVCC is holding the biennial Kalamazoo Animation Festival International. KAFI is the premiere animation festival in the Midwest and one of the top animation festivals in the world. We’re bringing in animators from companies like Disney, PBS Children and Nick Jr.
Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl looking for something to do, we’ve got events from 8 am to midnight!
We are looking for volunteers to act as drivers, greeters, runners, ticket takers, workshop monitors, gallery guides and special event helpers at this renowned festival.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in animation, film or any aspect of creative work. The volunteers receive a free ticket to a seminar, screening or panel discussion of their choice. All volunteers will witness a major industry event taking shape as well as meet many big players in the field of animation.
In order to volunteer you need to:
- Be 16 years old or over
- Attend one of the mandatory meetings on Tuesday, April 28th or Monday, May 4th from 6:30pm-8:00pm
- Drop-Off/E-Mail/Mail/Fax this completed Volunteer Application Form by April 20
