COMPETITION JUDGES ANNOUNCED
The 2009 Kalamazoo Animation Festival International is proud to announce the judges who will be selecting this year’s winners. Bill Dennis, co-founder and principal of Zanymation as well as the founder of the ASIFA India chapter; Deanna Morse, a professor in the School of Communications at Grand Valley State University, independent filmmaker, and Vice-President of ASIFA International; and Gary Scwartz, Academy Award nominated filmmaker and founder of Single Frame Films; will choose from among the best and the brightest of the KAFI 2009 Finalists. The winners, who will take home $15,000 in prize money, will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday, May 17, 2009.
