STOP-MOTION/PIXILATION WORKSHOP OFFERED
KAFI 2009 will offer participants the opportunity to take part in a one-day hands-on stop-motion/pixilation workshop entitled “It Came from Kalamazoo. . .” at the Kalamazoo State Theatre. Lead by animator Gary Schwartz, this class will produce a trailer for the Kalamazoo Animation Festival using the theatre and the city of Kalamazoo as a backdrop. Students will develop animation production concepts and skills while using Dumpsternation, Stop-motion, Pixillation, and Time Lapse techniques.
