NEW FAMILY EVENTS FEATURED
Several new events designed for children and families will be featured as part of the 2009 Kalamazoo Animation Festival International. These activities are being added to the festival line-up to encourage the community to take part in the festival and to teach children about the wonders of animation. Speakers and programs for parents on topics such as children’s television programming will also be on the schedule. Check out Thaumatropes Gone Wild!, a hands-on workshop that gives participants an opportunity to build their own optical toy, Flip-Book Bonanza, where participants create their own flip-book, and special screenings of KAFI entries selected as among the best child-friendly family films. Fun for all ages!
